Using the materials supplied in Playspace, create your own mask, inspired by the Francis Upritchard exhibition Jealous Saboteurs. This touring exhibition is a joint partnership with Monash University Museum of Art and City Gallery, Wellington.

COMPETITION

teen writing

TEEN WRITING COMPETITION in collaboration with Dunedin Public Libraries and Dunedin UNESCO City of Literature. Entry is restricted to those from Year 9 to Year 13. One entry per person, with a maximum of 750 words. Closing date for entries is 28 October 5pm. Judges are poet, art writer, and editor of Landfall David Eggleton; and Bridget Schaumann, President of School Library Association of New Zealand Aotearoa. PLUS prizes for the three winners. Using the pipe cleaners supplied in Playspace, make a pipe cleaner figure and place it in the maquette on the plinth provided. Take a photo and post your favourite image to Instagram (#dpagpeople) and you could win a great prize.
